Forward Deployed Engineer, Manager -London

This role leads a team of Forward Deployed Engineers within Notion's Services organization, responsible for delivering complex technical solutions to enterprise customers across EMEA. The manager will coach engineers through discovery, architecture, implementation, and launch of custom code, AI agents, integrations, and data migrations, while staying involved enough to guide technical decisions and build trust with senior customer stakeholders. The role also involves shaping delivery standards, staffing, and partnering with Sales, Product, CX, and Engineering teams.

• 8+ years in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, or similar hands-on technical roles, including 2+ years managing or coaching engineers in customer-facing delivery. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, Python), plus experience with APIs, integrations, data transformation, and production systems. Strong track record of technical discovery, scoping, risk assessment, and leading complex customer engagements, along with strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
