Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Public Sector

This role works with federal government customers to build and deploy production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform, requiring an active Secret or Top Secret clearance. The engineer owns architecture and design decisions, leads technical delivery across data engineering, ML/AI, and application development, and collaborates with engagement managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders. Travel to customer sites is expected 20-25% of the time.

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering; proficiency in Python, Scala, and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in one; deep experience with Apache Spark and distributed computing internals; familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps; experience designing end-to-end production data/ML architectures; strong client-facing and technical delivery skills; active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.
